We are very happy to have friends now in Africa.
Officially, our school is called Stevenson-Britannia Elementary School. Most people just refer to us as Stevenson School. We are a Kindergarten to Grade 5 school in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
We have 237 students and 35 staff.

It is winter in Canada. It is cold and there is a lot of snow across most of the country. Here is a picture of Tom, Tony, Amos playing in the snow in our school yard. It was about -20°C that day. That is fairly usual for Winnipeg from December to February. It even gets colder and when the wind blows, sometimes it gets to be -45°C! We don't like those days. In Winnipeg, we have four very different seasons. The summer can be +40°C. What is your climate like in Kakuma, Kenya?

What kind of topics do you learn at your school? We have learned about habitats, light, fractions, how to do research and Canada's geography. We just had our Project Fair where everyone did a research project. Do you have that at your school?
